Module 1: Doctrine

Introduction

In this scene, the patient, formerly a prison doctor, had administered the lethal injection of a criminal. Several months later he discovered that the criminal was set up and was actually innocent. The patient believes that ultimate issues are at stake. What does he do with his guilt? What are the implications of doctrine? More guilt? Freedom? Hope? Anger?  And, what do all people need - confident answers or inclusive platitudes?
